1 Billion Dollars and 60 Acres Later - Arizona’s Largest Resort Opening Soon

In the upcoming year, Arizona's hospitality sector will welcome the inception of VAI Resort, the largest hotel in the state. This ambitious $1 billion development sprawls across 60 acres in Glendale, about a 20 minute drive from Phoenix. This expansive project boasts over 1,100 luxury rooms, suites, and villas, alongside a multi-level, live music and concert venue (and the largest man made island in the US).

VAI Resort has four separate accommodation towers: the Muse Tower, a groundbreaking amalgamation of a hotel and an amphitheater. It boasts 328 rooms, 160 of which provide private balconies affording views of the concert stage and the venue which can host 8,000 attendees. The Rhythm Tower caters perfectly to meetings and events, offering convenient access to the hotel's conference facilities. The Cadence Tower provides an atmosphere of ultra-luxury for a more serene experience. Lastly, the VAI Villas boast rooms spanning from 1,100 square feet to the sprawling 5,300-square-foot penthouse.

In addition to the vast array of rooms, VAI, as you might have guessed, has expansive venues for meetings. It hosts 40,000 flexible square feet of meeting and event space, on top of a 2,500-square-foot wedding venue and approximately 10,000 square feet of private dining rooms across its restaurants.

Beyond business, guests can enjoy VAI's Konoa Island—the largest human made island in the United States. This will all be encompassed by 5 acres of temperature-controlled waters and nearly a mile of pristine white sand beaches. The entire outdoor area will be furnished with lavish daybeds, private cabanas and an array of authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Additionally the resort complex encompasses 12 distinctive restaurants, a globally-inspired spa, a tethered hot air balloon ferrying 30 guests to the Konos Sky Bar (yes, literally flying 130 feet high), around 80,000 square feet of luxury retail spaces, art galleries and more.
